Candidates

The Comoro candidate process provides a designated consultant to support the applicant at each stage of the recruitment process.

We bring opportunities otherwise undiscovered to suitable talent who are open to ideas of a new career path and are willing to discuss these with a trusted adviser.

  • Candidate discovery

The candidate process starts with you discovering your ideal job on our website or via an advertisement on a job board. Depending on the role you will be appointed a Comoro consultant, who will be your single point of contact throughout the process. They will interview you to understand your experience, skill set and career goals. During this time, we will explore the roles we have available and advise on your CV, LinkedIn profile and digital footprint.

    Candidate discovery

  • Positioning your profile

At this stage in the process we draw together the information we assimilated during the discovery meeting. We summarise your skill set and experience, looking beyond what you have achieved to how you achieved it and aligning this to the cultural fit within an organisation.

    Positioning your profile

  • Candidate submission

It’s at this stage when your Comoro consultant presents you to the client. Here we add colour by uncovering the extra 10% not always visible on your CV. We add depth and breadth to your application and how you would be a fit for the role, business and culture.

  • Preparing for interview

At Comoro, we are great believers in the ‘by failing to prepare you are preparing to fail’ approach. Your consultant will provide you with guidance and we will have a briefing call prior to the interview, reminding you of the key areas to research, notably the role, the company and of course yourself.

    Preparing for interview

  • Post interview feedback

The feedback loop is a key stage for both you and the client. We conduct a telephone de-brief, finding out from you what went well and if there were any areas that need further discussion. We also relay back to you feedback from the hiring manager.

    Post interview feedback

  • Negotiate offer

If successful at the interview stage a verbal offer is received based on level of experience, expected salary and what you will bring to the organisation. We act as an honest and trusted broker ensuring both candidate and client achieve a positive outcome.

    Negotiate offer

  • Post placement review

Even after you start the role, our job is ongoing, and at Comoro we stay in touch. We have a one-month review, to check in on how you are doing. After three months we have our final review, ensuring you are fully engaged in your new position, that you have goals and objectives and that you are happy with the role, the company and the people.
