Overview

This Associate Director (Consultancy) role presents a fantastic opportunity to build upon your successful career in this growing consultancy-led market research agency. Leading multiple programs/teams you will articulate and position our client’s strategic consultancy services to existing and new clients in the Pharma and Healthcare Sectors.

This role reports to the consultancy MD and sits within the EU based consulting group. The role works alongside Research and BD colleagues to support the identification of new consulting opportunities, contribute to the development of persuasive and distinctive proposals in order to win new projects.

As an Associate Director your key responsibilities are:

Business Development

  • Capitalise on client contacts and collaborate with BD and research colleagues to support the identification and conversion of new clients/business opportunities
  • Support EU consultancy, research and BD colleagues in the identification of new global opportunities for EU headquartered clients to expand existing client base
  • Support consultancy Director in leading the consultancy element of assigned pitches and proposals working collaboratively with research colleagues to develop innovative and appropriately costed approaches that win business

 Strategy and Delivery

  • Contribute to the creation of short and mid-term strategic consultancy plans by the EU consultancy team referencing the EU business vision to provide overall direction
  • Manage the delegated execution of assigned projects to achieve high client satisfaction and budget targets (revenue, growth and profitability) tracking and reporting progress and course corrections to Director consultancy

General

  • Actively engage in own training and upskilling in understanding of consultancy approaches; proactively identifying development needs
  • Support the consultancy team in the continuous identification/development, training and application of innovative and effective consulting tools and techniques to establish a clearly differentiated consultancy offering to clients

What you bring to the Party:

  • Minimum 4 years global healthcare experience with variety of Pharma and Life Science clients
  • Degree qualified graduate or equivalent vocational qualification – Life Science or Business .
  • Good understanding of Pharma drug development process
  • Basic appreciation of consulting tools and techniques with application to Pharma industry
  • A passion for leading creative, problem-solving workshops and projects.
  • Aptitude for winning new business and developing long- lasting client relationships
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills including well-developed PowerPoint skills
  • Willing to travel on company business on an as needed basis
